GSS Mombasa Program is a ministry of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd Sisters of the Eastern, Central Africa Province (ECAP) whose main mission is to minister to the women, girls, and children whose condition in life cries out for the healing and merciful love of Jesus the Good Shepherd with the aim of empowering them to become the people God created them to be. The overall goal of GSS Mombasa Programme over the next four years is to build a high impact community with focus on women, children, and girls through an empowerment, education and protection programs with notable impacts leading to social transformation of the community and the society at large

Activities at the Centre
Activities include:
Taking care and protection of the children through provision of: food, safe accommodation, security and friendly home.
Psychological counselling to both children and their families
In house schooling
Play therapy activities to help children express pain and improve their emotional wellbeing. Medical care
Legal advice and accompanying children to the Court
Reconciliation and reintegration of the children back to their families
Health care by taking sick children to health facilities
